36 hours at sea is a long period of time to be sailing but you know it kinda goes by quickly. Watch for whales, soak in the sunshine, read a book, hang out with your best friend, play games or get acquainted with your fellow travelers. When absolutely necessary then retire to your cabin, your tent, your lounger under the solarium or where ever else you can find to sleep.
The topography wasn’t unlike the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound where I am from except the mountains were much taller and greener. They impacted my senses more. It was so fresh smelling out there on the water and the views were marvelous.
